Position Summary
The Operations Manager will help create and will oversee all aspects of the new RedViking Production Panel Build operation, ensuring operational excellence across manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and engineering. This leader drives performance, financial accountability, customer satisfaction, and team development while executing strategies that support scalable, efficient, and high-quality production operations.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead daily operations across Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Own program management, including reporting, scheduling, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Create and management weekly and monthly production schedules based on customer order quantities and resource management.
  • Manage program financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost variance control.
  • Serve as primary customer point of contact for operational performance, schedules, and deliverables.
  • Develop and track operational KPIs to drive accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee annual and quarterly order intake processing and alignment with resource planning
  • Drive operational improvements in quality, throughput, material flow, and overall efficiency.
  • Provide leadership to direct reports: Manufacturing Supervisor, Quality Supervisor, Supply Chain Supervisor, and Manufacturing Engineer.
  • Support employee development through coaching, performance management, and workforce planning.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards, quality systems, and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with leadership to align operational strategy with organizational goals.

Team Structure & Leadership Scope
This role leads a multi-disciplinary operations team including Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and Production. Direct leadership spans approximately 24-30 employees, including supervisors and technicians across logistics, quality control, and panel build assembly.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in operations within a medium to high volume production manufacturing environment.
  • Experience developing production schedules and resources plans to support fluctuating customer volume demands.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasts, and cost performance.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage cross-functional initiatives, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Experience in automotive, industrial equipment, automation, or similar manufacturing environments.
  • Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving capabilities.

Work Environment
Role requires regular presence on the production floor, interaction with cross-functional teams, and hands-on engagement in operational processes. Occasional lifting, walking, or standing may be required.
