Job description

Salary: $40.37/hr - $45.32/hr

Draslovka is hiring an experienced Chemical Operator for our Memphis Plant.


Minimum Qualifications Required:
Candidate must possess the demonstrated ability and job aptitude to perform the essential job functions
of vacant position, must have a positive attitude and ability to work with a team
High School diploma/equivalency
3-5 years as an operator in a chemical or related petrochemical manufacturing process or industry (or
relevant experience defined by management).
Have a high regard for personal safety and the safety of others
Be proficient in computers to perform job tasks
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong reading comprehension and listening skills
Strong multi-tasking, problem-solving, and time management skills.
Strong work ethic, discipline, and high attention to detail
Ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including hard hat, protective eyewear,
steel-toed boots, hearing protection, Level A suit, full face respirator (no facial hair), SCBA (self-contained breathing apparatus).
Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, crawl, climb stairs, reach overhead, lift up to 50lbs, and
have excellent manual dexterity and visual acuity, with or without accommodations.
Must be willing and able to serve on the site Fire Brigade, including the ability to successfully pass all
physical fitness/medical requirements.
Ability to work in a High Hazard environment, including adverse weather conditions, elevated spaces,
confined spaces, extreme temperatures, and noisy surroundings.
Ability to work rotating 12 hour rotating shifts, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime, as business
needs require.
A current and valid, state-issued driver's license
Strong mechanical aptitude
Capability to learn quickly and work in a self-directed team environment
