Job description

As a Hospitality Management Intern with Aimbridge, you'll dive right into the world of hotels, rotating through key departments, learning the ropes of guest service, and discovering what it takes to lead in hospitality. With hands-on experience and guidance from seasoned pros, every day is a new adventure to grow, connect, and make a difference for guests and your team!
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Junior or Senior preferred, currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in hospitality, hotel/tourism management, or a related field.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English, with strong communication skills
  • Ability to follow policies and procedures and exercise sound judgment
  • Capable of handling guest concerns professionally, including difficult situations
  • Reliable and flexible to meet scheduling needs, including occasional nonstandard hours

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Rooms Division Explorer: Get hands-on with housekeeping, laundry, engineering, and inventory while mastering guest room and public space cleanliness according to brand standards.
Guest Services Champion: Dive into front office operations, reservations, and night auditing. Learn the ins and outs of property management systems, service recovery, and effective communication across departments.
Cash Handling Pro: Show your skills in handling cash, preparing and depositing drops, and ensuring secure, balanced bank procedures.
Aimbridge Values Ambassador: Uphold high standards of trust, responsibility, and sound judgment while representing the company with integrity and professionalism.
Mentor Meetup Enthusiast: Take part in engaging check-ins with dedicated leaders both on and off property, gaining valuable guidance and building your professional network.
