Accentuate Staffing is assisting a leading food distribution company in the Charleston, SC area with hiring an Operations Manager to join their team. This is a direct hire opportunity offering excellent benefits.



Responsibilities

  • :Lead daily warehouse, delivery, and branch operations
  • .Manage, coach, and develop a team of 15+ employees
  • .Monitor employee performance and maintain accountability standards
  • .Oversee inventory control, cycle counts, and inventory accuracy
  • .Ensure products are received, stored, and distributed efficiently
  • .Support customer service and resolve escalated customer issues
  • .Manage fleet operations, vehicle readiness, and route efficiency
  • .Identify and implement process improvements to increase productivity
  • .Monitor operational costs and support profitability goals
  • .Maintain a safe, organized, and professional work environment

.Requirements

  • :Previous experience in operations management, branch management, warehouse leadership, or distribution management
  • .Proven experience leading and developing teams
  • .Strong inventory control and warehouse operations knowledge
  • .Experience managing customer service and operational performance
  • .Ability to hold employees accountable and drive results
  • .Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • .Experience with route delivery, fleet management, or service operations preferred
  • .Comfortable working in a hands-on leadership role
  • .Experience with budgeting, cost control, or P&L management is a plus
  • .Background in food & beverage, distribution, grocery, vending, or service-based operations preferred
