Position Overview:

The Production Floater is primarily responsible to cover for absences due to Vacations, Sick Calls, New Style Training (Quick Change Over), Personal Days, Workplace Injuries, and resignation/terminations and where applicable. A floater is expected to work in multiple categories at the discretion of the production manager, or as needed.

What You'll Do:

  • Fill absenteeism on plant sewing operations for all active styles or new samples in assigned category
  • Work as piecework operator and scan all completed operations under the correct job numbers
  • Must be willing to learn operations on any style to cross train and expand individual skills
  • Assist in the production of PPS, and Salesman samples
  • Complete all tasks assigned by the production supervisor

  • Must be familiar with manufacturing techniques and knowledge of concepts related to apparel manufacturing.
  • Exceptional leadership skills, problem solving abilities.
  • Confident, articulate, organized, detail oriented, goal oriented, self-motivated and hard working.
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, operate proactively, work as a team and handle challenges.

Working Conditions:

  • Must be willing to float or change operations anytime
  • Must be willing to work overtime
  • Must have the ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time.

Hourly Range:

$18.62 - $20.59 / hour
