The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in St. Johns that are seeking Six Sigma Black Belts. These companies are committed to building strong teams and are looking for professionals who can lead initiatives effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute complex Six Sigma Black Belt projects from inception to completion, delivering significant cost savings and process improvements.
• Mentor and coach Green Belts and other team members on Six Sigma methodologies, tools, and project management.
• Utilize advanced statistical analysis tools and techniques to identify root causes of defects and variation in manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement sustainable process improvements and standardize best practices.
• Develop and deliver training programs on Six Sigma principles and tools to build organizational capability.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement through active participation in site-level strategic planning and problem-solving initiatives.

Recommended Qualifications

• Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB) with demonstrated project leadership.
• Minimum 5 years experience applying Six Sigma methodologies in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor cross-functional teams on complex improvement projects.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) for data-driven decision making.
• Track record of achieving significant, quantifiable results in cost reduction, quality improvement, or process efficiency.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with advanced statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) beyond basic Excel analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop Green Belts or other continuous improvement practitioners.
• Familiarity with Industry 4.0 concepts and their application within a manufacturing environment.
• Certification or practical experience in Lean principles, complementing Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proven track record of presenting complex data and recommendations to senior leadership.
