Job description

Overview

PepsiCo has embarked on a multi-year journey to deploy the PepsiCo Global Template (PGT), an enterprise-wide SAP S/4HANA solution covering all aspects of business operations. As part of that journey, a North America Supplier Center of Excellence (NASCOE) was established to centralize, institutionalize, and continuously improve the management, accuracy, and usage of supplier data across both the PGT and legacy applications. The Continuous Improvement Analyst will provide testing support processes and enhancements across the North America supplier domain. This role requires a keen attention to detail, a passion for efficiency, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure completeness of our solution.


Responsibilities
  • This role is responsible for the end-to-end test execution of new functionalities and capabilities, managing the entire testing lifecycle. Additionally, this role serves as a liaison between technical and business stakeholders.
  • The Continuous Improvement Analyst will provide recommendations to the NA Supplier COE and Nexus leadership on testing management strategies. The ideal candidate should be adept at handling and analyzing large data sets, develop a solid understanding of SAP data structures, and become familiar with integration architecture.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $73,400 - $122,850.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 5% of annual salary paid out annually.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications
  • Test Execution:
    • Execute MDG Supplier CR and workflow testing.
    • Execute manual and automated test cases.
    • Perform various types of testing including functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing.
    • Ensure that all test activities are carried out in accordance with the test plan.
  • Defect Identification and Reporting:
    • Identify, track, and manage defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
    • Work with development teams to reproduce issues and provide detailed information for resolution.
    • Retest resolved issues to ensure defects are corrected and no new defects are introduced.
  • Test Planning and Design:
    • Collaborate with NASCOE to create detailed test plans and test cases based on requirements and business cases.
    • Ensure that test cases cover all expected requirements including edge cases.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Work closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive understanding of the requirements.
    • Provide regular updates on testing progress, defects, and risks.
  • Documentation:
    • Maintain up-to-date documentation of test cases, test results, and defect reports.
    • Ensure that all testing artifacts are stored in a centralized repository and are easily accessible.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Suggest improvements to testing processes and methodologies.
    • Understand how PepsiCo uses data across sectors and business units.
    • Engage with teams across the organization to understand business processes and practices to ensure development meets improvement goals.
    • Communicate progress, results, and insights to stakeholders at all levels.
    • Participate in retrospectives and contribute to process improvements.
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest testing tools, techniques, and industry trends.

Differentiating Competencies Required

  • Bachelor's degree in business, operations management, engineering, or a related field
