Position: Operations Director

Location: Nashua, NH

Key Responsibilities

Operations Leadership

  • Lead new product introductions from concept to full-scale production
  • Oversee global plant operations and standardize processes
  • Ensure effective resource allocation and EHS best practices
  • Manage critical operational issues and crisis response

Strategy & Capacity

  • Develop and execute 3-year operational and capacity plans
  • Lead expansion initiatives, new site development, and capital projects
  • Forecast demand and optimize global resource utilization

Financial Management

  • Oversee global budgets and P&L performance
  • Drive cost reduction and operational efficiency
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies

Performance & Reporting

  • Define and monitor KPIs (quality, delivery, productivity)
  • Use data insights to improve performance and on-time delivery
  • Report results and recommendations to leadership

Collaboration & Quality

  • Partner cross-functionally to meet customer and business needs
  • Ensure compliance with ISO standards and global regulations
  • Maintain strong supplier quality systems and audit readiness

Qualifications

  • 15+ years in manufacturing management (electronics or mechanical preferred)
  • Degree in Engineering or related field
  • Experience building and scaling manufacturing operations
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001/14001, Lean, Six Sigma, 5S
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills
  • Willingness to travel globally (50%+); Mandarin is an asset
