Job description

  • Provide leadership and oversight of the agency's daily operational functions.
  • Provides strategic oversight and leadership for the Human Resources, Information Technology, and Public Relations Specialist departments, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, operational effectiveness, and agency priorities.
  • Develop and implement operational goals that align with the agency's strategic plan.
  • Evaluate organizational processes and implement improvements that increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Assist in developing and implementing organizational policies and procedures.
  • Participate as a member of the executive leadership team and collaborate with agency leadership to achieve organizational goals.
  • Ensure continuity of operations across all agency locations.
  • Coordinate facility repairs, renovations, maintenance, and capital improvement projects.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, Wyoming Occupational Safety standards, fire safety requirements, emergency preparedness plans, and other applicable regulations.
  • Oversee security systems, building access, workplace safety initiatives, disaster preparedness, and business continuity planning.
  • Provide oversight of information technology operations through internal staff and ensure technology systems effectively support clinical and administrative operations.
  • Assist with cybersecurity initiatives, software implementation, electronic health record enhancements, and long-term technology planning.
  • Monitor compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, accreditation standards, and CCBHC requirements.
  • Support organizational risk management activities, coordinate operational incident reporting and corrective actions, and ensure appropriate documentation and record retention practices.
  • Negotiate, manage, and evaluate operational contracts, vendor relationships, and service agreements to ensure quality and cost effectiveness.
  • Oversee agency fleet operations, including vehicle maintenance, registration, insurance, replacement planning, and inventory of agency equipment and fixed assets.
  • Develop replacement schedules for operational equipment and agency assets.
  • Collaborate with the Finance Director to monitor operational expenditures, identify cost-saving opportunities, and assist with grant implementation related to operational initiatives.
  • Work closely with Human Resources regarding workplace safety, facilities, onboarding logistics, operational policies, and employee engagement initiatives that support a positive work environment.
  • Participate in organizational quality improvement efforts by monitoring operational performance metrics, preparing reports for executive leadership and the Board of Directors, and recommending improvements based on data and performance outcomes.
  • Represent the organization in community meetings and maintain positive working relationships with contractors, government agencies, vendors, community partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the mission and operational needs of Southwest Counseling Service.
