SUMMARY

This position is responsible for networking and marketing of Company services and coordination of operations between the agency, hospitals, nursing homes, physicians, former energy workers, miners, millers, and community organizations. 

This role is responsible for working with patients, families, physicians and other health personnel to assist in the growth of our company and acquire referrals from the health care community. 


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Employee must have regular attendance/punctuality, be able to work with others at all levels of the Company, have exceptional customer service, and be completely honest. Other assigned duties include:

  1. Orchestrates, directs, and drives new patient growth through marketing, advertising, events, and direct contact with individual clients, the DOL, and community professionals.
  2. Assists in the coordination of services for new patients discharged from hospitals and other referral sources into the home health program after patient/referral source has identified CNSCares as the home care provider.
  3. Obtains authorization for home health services from primary physicians.
  4. Works closely with agency personnel to identify community services.
  5. Attends meetings, participating in both external and internal committees and organizations.
  6. Represents the company at all times in a professional, ethical and loyal manner.
  7. Complies with company policies and procedures.
  8. Establish relationships and education regarding CNSCares services to the following groups: Physicians/medical office managers, energy retiree and union groups, durable medical equipment companies, hospital case management and discharge planning departments, attorneys, area EEOICPA resource centers, Veteran Medical Centers, and district offices.
  9. Assists potential EEOICPA claimants through the OWCP claims process. Serves as a resource to the Case Managers and State Administrators.
  10. Maintains contact with professionals of various health service agencies to determine patient eligibility services.
  11. Maintain and build partnerships and coalitions with advocates in the EEOICPA arena.
  12. Ensure established operational and marketing budget parameters are met.
  13. Submits Agency required reports per established timelines.
  14. Other Duties as assigned

This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities.


Requirements

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE 


Required:

  • At least one (1) year of healthcare sales experience

Preferred:

  • Bachelors Degree Preferred
  • Home health or hospice sales experience strongly preferred
  • Department of Labor /EEOICPA experience strongly preferred


Travel Requirement: Must have the ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
