SW Development Manager - Manufacturing IT

You will also leverage solid command skills, integrity, teamwork and trust to help your team understand their performance, build their skills, and develop their careers.
Responsibilities and Tasks
As an IT SW Development Manager for the Manufacturing ADS team, you will be responsible for:
  • Managing the functional and operational workloads assigned to you and your team.
  • Setting goals, providing feedback, appraising performance, and helping your team develop their careers.
  • Providing training opportunities to your team so they possess the knowledge, skills, and competencies to be successful in their roles.
  • Partnering with Product Owners and/or stakeholders to define requirements, develop good stories, over communicate progress and advertise achievements.
  • Collaborating with worldwide IT and Manufacturing Development leaders to develop strategy, drive improvements, set goals, and recognize and reward performance.
  • Guiding and advising the use of AI tools such as code generation agents, custom agent and skills development etc. to increase efficiency, quality and speed of development.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Information Systems is required. Equivalent experience and other related certifications will be considered.
  • The ability to effectively communicate with groups across different departments, sites, and geographies.
  • A strong commitment to the development of others.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead effective teams and foster teamwork.
  • A flexible work schedule maintaining a high level of commitment.
  • Strong technical capability.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with JavaScript, Angular and/or ReactJS, HTML5 and CSS
  • Knowledge of restful web services using NodeJS, Apache, or C#
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft .NET Framework
  • SQL and NoSQL database design and development
  • Object Oriented Design and Programming, i.e., JAVA, C#
