Role Overview:

The Operations Coordinator is responsible for day-to-day scheduling and work order management across the Operations and Maintenance team. This role will schedule and coordinate planned and corrective maintenance activities across a diverse portfolio, working with area managers and technicians to meet contractual obligations and ensure availability.


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Create and maintain schedule for preventative and corrective maintenance activities throughout the generator fleet
  • Manage the full work order life cycle from entered to invoiced
  • Coordinate larger repair projects, working with various third-parties to complete jobs
  • Generate quotes for work orders above certain revenue thresholds, gaining internal and external approval
  • Work closely with procurement, generating requests for quotes and purchase orders for materials and subcontractors
  • Work closely with accounting to ensure work orders are billed properly
  • Track and report various KPI's to upper management
  • Assist with continuous improvement of CMMS system, developing and testing new features
  • Evaluating potential problems and work with management to develop solutions
  • Maintain effective communication with various internal parties (engineering, procurement, accounting, commissioning, etc.) to ensure activity completion and reporting

Requirements

Basic (Required) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Related Experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, presentation, and project management skills related to prioritizing and executing timely deliverables within timeline, scope, and budget
  • The ability to understand business needs to drive buy-in among company leaders to enable transformation and advance strategic priorities while building rapport and fostering a collaborative working environment
  • An analytical mind with strong attention to detail and business acumen
  • Outstanding organizational and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
  • Ability to make significant, quick independent decisions
