Essential Functions:
  • Distribution of mill schedule to appropriate individuals at specific times throughout the day.
  • Prints and distributes work orders for the mill and lamination.
  • Coordinates expedite requests from the assembly department.
  • Various data entry tasks, including;
    • Scrap entry
    • Communicate with planning regarding work order changes
    • Cycle count requests
    • Maintenance work orders (as needed)
    • Compliance tracking
  • Schedule management; research on unsatisfied work order quantities
  • May be required to perform floor counts as part of schedule management
  • Any additional tasks that may be deem necessary my department manager/supervisor.

Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability required.
Education, Experience, and Skills:
  • Experience in supply chain and parts expediting.
  • 1-3 years experience; manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Good personal computer skills; Microsoft products experience preferred -Outlook-Word-Excel-PowerPoint.
  • Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality and demonstrate understanding of PHI.
  • Must have experience in working in a team environment, to meet/exceed goals.
  • Strong planning/organization & time management skills.
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills.
  • CPR and First Aide certified preferred
  • Must be bilingual Spanish & English

Communications Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common business and technical journals and financial reports. Ability to listen and communicate effectively with customers/clients in an effort to respond to common inquires or complaints from customers/clients, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community and public. Ability to develop presentations to be delivered to production team, plant level team, or public groups.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts like addition, subtraction, multiplication or division to basic manufacturing performance recording or financial performance recording. Ability to read and use a tape measure.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to lift up to 25 pounds. The employee is occasionally required to lift up to 50 pounds.
Working Environment:
Typical indoor manufacturing environment. The noise level is usually moderate to high and hearing protection may be required on the production floor. Safety glasses are required on the production floor. Off shift work and occasional weekend work is required.
