Job description

POSITION SUMMARY


Assists and coordinates activities of warehouse workers engaged in receiving and distributing building material products by performing the following duties. Carries out process control responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work. This position is responsible for maintaining and enforcing all company procedures, policies and practices.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
Document processing for all outbound LTL and Parcel shipments
Responsible for ensuring all shipments have proper POD documents per customer and company requirements and confirming deliveries
Schedules work for special and periodic inventories.
Responsible for assisting in periodic cycle counting of inventory.
Traces history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory and stock control records and recommends remedial actions to resolve discrepancies.
Maintains calendar schedule for all inbound freight
Supporting role to work with dedicated carriers for efficient and safe routing of delivery trucks.
Responsible for coordinating will call orders in safe and service friendly manner.
Responsible for the maintaining and caring for company owned or leased equipment, ensuring all PIV equipment inspections are completed and records retained.
Uploading all required documentation onto secured network
Warehouse Operations Coordinator

Receives stock into warehouse. Notifies purchasing agent of any discrepancies between shipment(s) and purchase order.
Responsible for printing daily production work along with corresponding shipping documents.
Assist with monthly warehouse safety inspections
Performs miscellaneous duties as requested.
Additional Essential Functions Attendance/Punctuality Is consistently at work and on time; Ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent; Arrives at meeting and appointments on time.
Work Location This work is critical to be conducted at the assigned office, with remote work not practical.
