Job description

ABOUT PRIMA CHEFS & TUCENA

Prima Chefs, Inc. is redefining in-home dining by bringing the quality and hospitality of an upscale restaurant experience directly to the customer's home.

Through our TuCena concept, we partner with high-end restaurants and use proprietary reusable, insulated vessels engineered to preserve temperature, texture, aroma, and presentation for over an hour โ€” transforming delivery from a convenience into a true dining experience.

As an early-stage, hospitality-driven company, we are building our operations from the ground up. This is an opportunity to join a growing team where adaptability, personality, technology, and exceptional service all matter.

THE ROLE

We are looking for a tech-savvy, outgoing, hospitality-minded Operations Coordinator to help manage the day-to-day execution of TuCena.

This is not a data analyst or traditional back-office administrative role. It is a hands-on operations position for someone who enjoys working with people, solving problems in real time, learning new technology, and keeping a fast-moving hospitality operation organized.

You will be at the center of daily operations: coordinating orders and deliveries, communicating with restaurant partners and customers, working within our CRM, dispatch, ordering, and communication platforms, troubleshooting issues, and helping ensure every TuCena experience meets our service standards.

The ideal candidate is someone who is just as comfortable learning a new software platform or troubleshooting a workflow as they are calling a restaurant manager, speaking with a customer, or stepping in to solve an operational problem.

Because our business operates when restaurants are busiest, night and weekend availability is required.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Coordinate daily order flow, delivery activity, restaurant communication, and operational logistics
  • Work across multiple technology platforms, including CRM, dispatch, ordering, payment, phone, and internal communication systems
  • Quickly learn new software and help identify more efficient ways to use technology within daily operations
  • Monitor active orders and proactively identify and resolve issues before they impact the customer experience
  • Communicate confidently and professionally with restaurant partners, customers, delivery partners, and internal team members
  • Provide a high-touch, hospitality-first experience when handling customer questions or service issues
  • Build strong working relationships with restaurant teams and other external partners
  • Assist with scheduling, inventory, delivery vessels, supplies, and other operational needs
  • Maintain accurate operational records and basic performance reporting
  • Help develop and improve SOPs, workflows, and processes as the company grows
  • Troubleshoot day-to-day operational and technology issues and know when to escalate them
  • Jump in wherever needed during launch and growth โ€” this is a startup environment, and responsibilities will evolve

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Hospitality or customer-facing operations experience strongly preferred, particularly in restaurants, hotels, luxury service, food delivery, or another high-touch service environment
  • Highly comfortable with technology and able to learn new systems quickly
  • Experience using or learning platforms such as CRMs, POS systems, dispatch software, online ordering platforms, scheduling systems, or similar operational technology
  • An outgoing, personable communication style and confidence interacting with customers, restaurant managers, vendors, and team members
  • Strong situational judgment and the ability to stay calm and resourceful when something goes wrong
  • A natural problem-solver who doesn't need every situation to have a predefined answer
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage several moving pieces simultaneously
  • Comfortable reviewing basic operational metrics and using information to make better decisions โ€” advanced data analytics experience is not required
  • Willingness to work hands-on and adapt as the needs of an early-stage company change
  • Reliable, accountable, and comfortable taking ownership of problems through resolution
  • Availability to work nights and weekends
  • Bachelor's degree required

WHO WILL THRIVE HERE

You may be a great fit if you've worked in hospitality and have always been the person who figures out the technology, fixes the problem, organizes the chaos, and connects easily with people.

You enjoy a fast pace, don't mind wearing multiple hats, and would rather solve a problem than wait for someone else to tell you what to do. You're polished enough to represent TuCena with an upscale restaurant partner or customer, but hands-on enough to jump into the operation when things get busy.

We're looking for someone who wants to help build an operation, not simply maintain one.

EMPLOYMENT TYPE

Full-Time | On-Site | West Palm Beach, FL

  • Night and weekend availability required.
