The Strategic Logistics Operations Coordinator serves as the strategic interface between Supply Management and plant operations, acting as the primary point of contact for transportation performance, service reliability, and driving continuous improvement. This role partners closely with internal stakeholders to ensure transportation strategies align with operational priorities while leveraging the logistics hub. The role includes leading strategic engagement with plant leadership to drive alignment, performance, and continuous improvement.

What you'll be doing:
  • Operational Partnership & Service Leadership Act as the primary Logistics representative to assigned manufacturing plants and processes
  • Travels to assigned plants as a strategic supply management partner
  • Lead recurring strategic meetings with plant operations teams to review performance, align priorities, and drive continuous improvement
  • Serve as escalation point for transportation service issues and lead root cause resolution
  • Build strong crossโ€‘functional relationships
  • Support business operational objectives, projects and initiatives
  • Collaboration of Centralized Execution (Offshore Hub) Direct Indiaโ€‘based logistics hub for planning and execution
  • Ensure adherence to processes and service standards
  • Monitor execution quality and intervene as needed for escalation
  • Performance Management & Continuous Improvement Own transportation performance including KPIs (On Time Pick Up, Tender Acceptance, On Time Delivery, Carrier Compliance, etc.)
  • Analyze trends and identify gaps
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Identify Cost Reduction Opportunities
  • Systems & Visibility Enablement Champion effective use of TMS (OTM)
  • Oversee data integrity and tracking Support system enhancements and training
  • Proactive Issue Management Anticipate disruptions and coordinate mitigation
  • Ensure clear communication of shipment status Escalate systemic issues and recommend improvements

This position can be located in Hartsville, SC or Charlotte, NC. We'd love to hear from you if:

Willingness and ability to travel approximately 15% to plant locations

Compensation:
  • Logistics Operations Coordinator I: The annual base salary range for this role is from $62,000 to $69,750.
  • Logistics Operations Coordinator II: The annual base salary range for this role is from $77,440 to $87,120.
  • Senior Logistics Operations Coordinator: The annual base salary range for this role is from $95,680 to $107,640.
