The Opportunity

Underwriting Operations Support Associate - Sunrise, Florida (onsite- In Person)

Pay starting at $20.00 per hour

Are you looking for an entry-level position with the opportunity to grow? We are seeking to add a Binding Operations Support Associate to our team located in Sunrise, Florida. In this very teachable role, an Operations Support Associate is responsible for reviewing, processing, and troubleshooting documents and policies to ensure that the back-end process of Underwriting runs smoothly. This role plays a very important part in making sure all of our i's are dotted and our t's are crossed before any insurance policy is completed. A successful candidate will be someone with great attention to detail, a quick learner, have the ability to multitask, and someone who is a team player. Experience in data entry, accounting/bookkeeping or customer service is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities include:

  • Issue and invoice insurance binders in accordance with established procedures and service standards.
  • Print and attach all required documentation to IR
  • Identify and report discrepancies by submitting a thorough QA with clear explanations and supporting details
  • Review and process files that are flagged by the automation due to missing data, discrepancies, or system limitations.
  • Distribute binders and related invoices to agents promptly and accurately
  • Finalize the binding process by entering binder details on carrier’s portals (when needed)
  • Communicate effectively with underwriters and underwriters’ assistants via emails
  • Manage escalated and outstanding rushes professionally, ensuring timely resolution
  • Seek clarification from team leads or supervisors to ensure proper understanding of all situations
  • Consistently meet or exceed daily production and accuracy goals
