Great Atlantic Management is a locally owned and operated property management company that has proudly served our communities since 1977. We currently manage over 30 self-storage facilities throughout the area and continue to grow. As our portfolio expands, we are seeking an Assistant Operations Manager to join our team and support the day-to-day operations of our facilities while contributing to a collaborative, team-focused work environment.


About You:

As a reliable and dependable professional, you tackle any task with ease. Your skills include:

  • An experienced background: you have at least 2 years of management or office experience.
  • Excellent computer navigation - you've been working with computers and office software for quite some time.

What You'd Do: 

On a day-to-day basis, your essential duties would include:

  • Perform periodic site inspections, follow up with pending action items, and conduct property audits - mileage reimbursed at the federal rate.
  • Schedule and process all spaces for auction from start to finish, including accurately adding all eligible auction units to the online auction website prior to sale date.
  • Process inbound mail and payments.
  • Coordinate with the Operations Manager regarding any issues that need to be added to the maintenance app for repair.
  • Handle escalated customer issues and follow-up items flagged by the call center or website.
  • Occasionally answer inbound calls from customers to assist with taking payments and renting units.
  • Help suggest and roll out new software/policy & procedures for all brands as needed.
  • Physically assist with facilities when Property Caretakers are not available – this includes cleaning the facility and making units rent ready, so travel is required.
  • Audit rentals and provide feedback to the Operations Manager.
  • Any other reasonable duty assigned to keep Operations running smoothly.
