The Assistant Director of Campus Operations provides strategic-functional leadership for the Universityโ€™s campus operations services, ensuring our physical estate is safe, compliant, efficient and fit for purpose. The postholder is accountable for the operational strategy, procurement, performance and continuous improvement of campus operations, including facilities management, maintenance, asset management, statutory compliance, security and contracted operational services.

Working as a senior leader within Campus Services, the role translates strategic direction into clear operational priorities, service standards and investment plans, balancing operational resilience, customer experience, risk management and value for money. The role will suit FM leaders with a proven track record in delivering cutting-edge services across a similar diverse and multi-site estate. We are seeking an exceptional candidate with a commercial outlook and a track record of managing large diverse estates operational teams in addition to outsourced contracts. To be a success in the role, we are seeking an individual with outstanding stakeholder engagement and team leadership skills, who is both results focused and customer-centric in approach.
