About the Hotel
The Best Western Valencia is a leading hotel in the Santa Clarita Valley, ideally located near Six Flags Magic Mountain, The Master's University, Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital, and major corporate offices. Position Summary
The Operations Manager is a key member of the hotel's leadership team, overseeing Front Office operations while supporting the overall hotel. This is a highly visible, hands-on role where you'll lead by example, coach associates, ensure exceptional guest service, and help drive operational excellence.
Responsibilities
  • Lead, train, coach, and motivate the Front Desk team.
  • Prepare schedules and support daily hotel operations.
  • Assist Housekeeping operations and serve as relief Housekeeping Supervisor when needed.
  • Support breakfast operations during busy periods.
  • Resolve guest concerns professionally and confidently.
  • Maintain quality, cleanliness, and Best Western brand standards.
  • Coordinate effectively with all hotel departments.
  • Manage front office inventory and supplies.
  • Respond to operational challenges and emergencies.
  • Partner with the General Manager to achieve guest satisfaction, financial, and operational goals.

Qualifications
  • Minimum three years of hotel supervisory or management experience.
