Legal Operations Assistant Legal Operations Assistant (Remote – Contract)

A solo law practice is seeking a detail-oriented Legal Operations Assistant to support its growing prenuptial agreement practice. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in the legal profession who enjoys organization, technology, and administrative work.

Responsibilities
  • Match executed Proof agreements to the correct client.
  • Create new matters in Clio using a standardized template.
  • Upload and organize signed agreements.
  • Apply labels and maintain organized electronic files.
  • Verify that all required documents are complete.
  • Follow written procedures and checklists.
Qualifications
  • College preferred.
  • Interest in the legal profession.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable learning new software.
  • Experience working in a law office, either remotely or in person, is preferred but not required.
  • Clio experience is a plus; training will be provided.
Compensation
  • $5.00 per completed matter for standard matter setup.
  • Flexible remote contract position.
  • Additional administrative or special projects may be offered and will be compensated separately at a higher rate based on the nature and complexity of the work.
