Description
PURPOSE
This position is responsible for the management, administration, and efficient daily operation of USAT Logistics' business services for account managers in relation to Customer scorecard performance. This position will develop superior levels of customer relations, promote the sales and service culture of the company, and ensure adherence to the vision and values of USA Truck.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Daily AM & PM review of key reports (example: cancellations, Pickup/ Delivery compliance, Tender Acceptance and FourKites scores.

  • Responsible for the compliance of customer KPI's and score cards.

  • Responsible for mentoring Account Managers in management and relations leading to a strong long-term strategic customer partnerships, with a focus on KPI and Service Performance.

  • Oversight for collective tracking and reporting of Customer KPI's for all logistics customers.

  • Maintain working knowledge of a strategic customer business and network.

  • On floor liaison to manage communication between carrier and client teams and management teams.

  • Responsible for measuring, tracking and driving performance to the top 1/3 of our customer scorecards.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • BA in Business Management, Logistics or like discipline, or combination of education and logistics expertise, or customer service/sales experience.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, transportation, or like experience.

Preferred Skills
  • Proficient in negotiating, sales or broker experience.

  • Able to coach, guide, and motivate staff.

  • Advanced communication (written and verbal), organizational, and problem solving skills

  • Ability to deliver exceptional service through positive engagement and patience.

  • Ability to work in a team environment to continuously improve results.

  • Ability to promote a culture of trust and safety.
