Key Responsibilities

1. ADP System Mastery & Architecture

  • Full administration of our RUN Powered by ADP® platform.
  • Act as the internal subject matter expert for all integrated modules, including CareerPlug (ATS), onboarding, benefits administration, performance tracking, and document vaults.
  • Manage employee self-service portals, user access control, data integration, and system reporting.
2. Structural HR Compliance & Guidance

  • Conduct a full audit of current employment practices to ensure strict alignment with Illinois and Federal labor laws (including COBRA, ACA reporting, FMLA, and state-mandated paid leave).
  • Maintain and systematically update our digital Document Vault, mandatory labor posters, and required corporate notices.
  • Build out standard corporate HR assets, including a comprehensive Employee Handbook, standardized organizational chart templates, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
3. Full Lifecycle Talent Management

  • Talent Acquisition: Utilize CareerPlug and integrated platforms to build corporate job descriptions, publish to major job boards, screen applicants, and manage the interview pipeline.
  • Onboarding & Offboarding: Standardize corporate onboarding workflows (e.g., automated background screenings, secure I-9/W-4 document execution) and manage formal separation protocols (e.g., final pay compliance, COBRA distributions).
  • Performance & Learning: Design and execute structured corporate evaluation programs through the ADP Performance Management portal and assign/track mandatory compliance trainings.
4. Benefits & Leave Administration

  • Oversee corporate health insurance (medical, vision, dental) and 401(k) retirement services through the platform.
  • Manage corporate Paid Time Off (PTO) plans, tracking tracking, and annual state/federal tax credit compliance checks.
Qualifications & Experience Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 4–6 years of HR generalist or management experience, preferably building corporate infrastructure within an S-Corp or growing business environment.
  • ADP Expertise: Hard requirement for minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience managing RUN Powered by ADP or higher-tier ADP platforms (Workforce Now). Experience with CareerPlug integrations is highly preferred.
  • Compliance Knowledge: Deep, working knowledge of Federal labor regulations and Illinois-specific employment laws.
  • Education/Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a strong plus.
What We Offer

  • Competitive salary benchmarked against local market standards.
  • Comprehensive benefits package including Health Insurance, 401(k), and employee discounts.
  • A modern, well-equipped corporate workspace in the Chicago area.

Flexible work from home options available.
