Job description

Role: Reporting & Analytics Analyst
Rates: Up to $145,000 per year
Location: Calgary, AB
Structure: 2-3x per week on-site

Must have skills
- Diploma or degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business
Administration, Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Equivalent combinations of education and relevant professional experience will also be
considered.
- Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data, Dynamics 365, or related Microsoft
certifications are an asset.
- Additional training or practical experience in data governance, dimensional modeling,
SQL, Power BI administration, business analysis, financial reporting, project reporting,
or KPI frameworks is an asset.
- 58+ years of experience in enterprise data, reporting, analytics, business intelligence, or
ERP reporting environments.
- 35+ years of hands-on Power BI development experience, including semantic
models, DAX, Power Query, report design, dashboard development, row-level security,
workspace management, and performance optimization.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, including Lakehouse, Warehouse, Data
Pipelines, Dataflows Gen2, OneLake, semantic models, deployment practices, and
governed analytics assets.
- Experience supporting reporting and analytics within Dynamics 365, ERP, CRM, or
comparable enterprise application environments.
- Experience with financial reporting, operational reporting, project performance reporting,
executive dashboards, and KPI development is preferred.
Strong experience with SQL, dimensional data modeling, ETL/ELT methodologies, data
reconciliation, master data, data quality, and enterprise reporting governance.
-Experience in a post-implementation support environment, including business-as-usual
operations, report enhancements, release validation, issue resolution, and continuous
improvement.
-Demonstrated ability to work effectively with business stakeholders, technical teams,
application support, data engineers, vendors, and external service partners.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently while collaborating
effectively across teams.
