We are seeking a talented Senior Manager of Operations Analytics to join our dynamic team at SKIMS. The Senior Manager of Operations Analytics will play a pivotal role in analyzing costs and inventory levels across all SKIMS business channels. 
This role will manage a broad range of operations and logistics projects. It will work closely with internal partners including FP&A, Accounting, Tech, and Planning to drive strategic decisions and identify opportunities for cost savings and performance improvements. It will collaborate with external providers and accounting to track/analyze invoicing, timely payments and meeting of contract agreements. It drives business performance and efficiency by transforming complex data into actionable operational and strategic recommendations. It's expected to identify inefficiencies, oversee KPI reporting, develop financial models, and bridge the gap between technical teams and executive leadership to scale business processes.
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly business close process and reporting
  • Partner with Operation and Logistics for expense analysis and control
  • Ensure appropriate budget variances are captured as needed. Identify and communicate all risks and opportunities
  • Collaborate with FP&A and Accounting teams to develop and maintain robust financial reporting mechanisms, including KPIs, budget analysis, monthly warehouse and transportation spend analysis, and contractual spend commitment tracking
  • Partner with the Tech department to facilitate the development of Operations reports in NetSuite
  • Collaborate with the Data Analytics team to ensure the database is updated with relevant operational data points and leverage the data to generate actionable insights in MBR/QBR reporting
  • Analyze shipping cost and performance metrics to identify opportunities for savings and operational efficiencies
  • Identify positive and negative trends, develop suggestions to drive support or countermeasure action
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory positioning in the 3PL network
  • Present findings and recommendations to upper management on the implementation of operational improvements
  • Ability to learn, apply, and implement new reporting, analytics, and automation technologies
  • Create KPIs and dash-boarding to drive business decisions by analytics. Implement exception management to focus on problem resolution for key inefficient drivers
  • Ensures accuracy and integrity for reporting
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Minimum of bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain management, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in operations and data analytics
  • Excellent analytical skills coupled with strong problem-solving, project management, and presentation skills
  • Experience working with 3PL providers and conducting cost analyzation/management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to effectively communicate about complex issues with upper management
  • Ability to make strategic recommendations based on data and best practices
  • Advanced expertise using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Sisense, Mode Analytics, Power BI). Knowledge of SQL, Python, or ERP/WMS systems is highly desirable
