Your Role:
The Operations Analyst supports the Worldwide Professional Services Resource Management and Operations team and is responsible for helping to analyze and improve the operational efficiency and scalability of the overall team.
This role involves supporting key operational functions within Professional Services (PS), where you will deliver critical reports and analysis regarding the financial health and effectiveness of the business. Additionally, you will help optimize core business processes.
The Operations Analyst will work with the Senior Manager of PS Operations to establish the critical policies and procedures of the Professional Services organization. The Operations department will also be responsible for the Information Technology infrastructure used to support Professional Services. The Operations Analyst will work closely with Finance, Accounting, and Digital Solutions.
Your Opportunity:
  • Maintain accurate data and analytics for the Worldwide Professional Services team
  • Manage revenue recognition process to include forecast reporting, end of month fulfillment, process improvements
  • Identify and suggest PSA tool improvements including additional features, automation, accuracy improvement
  • Assist with the design, management, and improvements of reporting and analytics around delivery pipeline, backlog, and revenue management
  • Ad-hoc analysis and special projects that drive improvements and optimization of the PS business
  • Develop and maintain internal documentation, processes, and procedures
  • Partner with Finance, Accounting and Business Platforms on managing and improving shared processes and best practices
  • Interact with systems vendors, consultants, and user communities to stay abreast of systems issues, roadmap and future enhancements, and best practices
  • Document solutions designs, architecture and workflows
  • Plan, manage, and report to management the revenue forecast for the entire PS team
  • Identify areas for improvement and design and implement solutions
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities that management may deem necessary from time to time

What You'll Need:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 5 years of related experience and 2+ years in a services/consulting industry
  • Prior experience designing business processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, combined with the ability to communicate with team members at all levels and varying technical ability
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle high volume of requests and daily operations
  • Ability to generate data, but more importantly glean actionable results from the data
  • Microsoft (or Google) Suite skills required, specifically, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Experience with Certinia, Tableau, and Salesforce
  • Ability to work at a computer for an extended period of time
  • Globally distributed client organization that operates both in-office and remotely
  • Participate in training sessions, presentations, and meetings; sometimes being the presenter of these trainings
  • Infrequent travel required

And Ideally:
  • Any certifications related to Salesforce, SQL, or Tableau.
  • Experience with SQL.
  • Experience in Professional Services operations capacity

This is the base pay range for this position. Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, location and experience, and may fall outside of the range shown. Employees are also eligible for variable compensation in addition to base pay (commission for sales roles, bonus for non-sales roles), depending on company and individual performance.
