Job Summary:
The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for assisting the rental sales group by making touchpoints and doing sales research with new and dormant customers in assigned geographies. This will primarily consist of phone calls accompanied by email campaigns, LinkedIn efforts, and face-to-face visits as needed. Will be responsible for sweeping the various industries for contacts and making connections with the intention of growing our business. Develops customer relationships by identifying needs, educating them about the company's products or services, and recommending new and better solutions. Handles customer requests and issues via telephone and email. Coordinates with the US-based Rental and Service sales team and other departments to ensure that customers receive the best service possible. Respond to customer order and quotation requests received via outside salespersons, telephone, e-mail, and written correspondence.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Understands and can utilize data mining tools to investigate and determine emerging markets
  • Makes calls, recruits and performs touchpoints to potential new customers daily
  • May provide quotes, pricing and delivery information to customers and may be responsible for their own group of customers
  • Knowledgeable of matting access solutions and able to articulate how we can help
  • As needed, works with Finance to ensure collections of revenue is received timely
  • Performs follow-up to ensure timely shipment of materials and customer satisfaction
  • Tracks open sales leads and opportunities
  • Maintains accuracy of CRM and Business Intelligence (BI) tools for US based Rental and Sales organization

Experience and Education:
  • Knowledge of Transmission & Distribution, construction and/or composite matting industry a plus but not required.
  • Working Knowledge of Microsoft and other CRM and BI sales tools
  • Undergraduate degree with 1- 2 years of related experience
  • Under supervision, exercises limited latitude/independent judgment
  • Work typically involves detailed checks or close review of output by a senior co-worker and/or supervisor.
  • May require overnight travel, less than 10% of the time
