faith-based nonprofit organization in Indianapolis to identify a
Director of Operations - Nonprofit Programs & Community Services. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, administration, logistics, budgeting, and support services for a growing youth and family-focused community center.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced operations professional who is passionate about community impact, organizational excellence, and supporting programs that positively influence children, youth, and families.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily operational functions, including enrollment administration, attendance tracking, and record management.
- Manage logistics related to transportation, food service coordination, inventory, supplies, and facility readiness.
- Develop and maintain staff schedules while supporting coverage planning and operational efficiency.
- Monitor operational budgets, expenditures, and financial reporting to ensure responsible stewardship of resources.
- Support compliance initiatives, documentation requirements, grant reporting, and audit preparation.
- Partner with leadership to ensure a safe, welcoming, and compliant environment for youth, families, staff, and volunteers.
- Prepare operational reports related to attendance, incidents, transportation, and program support activities.
- Supervise and support operational staff, including administrative, transportation, and food service personnel.
QualificationsRequired- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent operational leadership experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in operations, administration, logistics, or program management.
- Experience managing budgets and tracking expenses.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work fully onsite in Indianapolis.
Preferred- Experience within nonprofit organizations, youth-serving programs, community centers, education, or social services environments.
- Familiarity with grant-funded programs and compliance reporting.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
Pay Details: $65,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year
