Job description

District Operations Secretary

Celina City Schools is looking for an individual with strong organization and communication to join our team. This role is new to the district, as it will serve the Director of Operations beginning in 2027-28.ย In 2026-27, this role will work closely with the Transportation Dept. while beginning to support other areas of district operations.ย 

260 day contract, 8:00am - 4:30pm

Start date 8/1/26

Requirements

  • Pass a background check
  • Experience with Microsoft and Google systems
  • Minimum of High School Diploma
  • Additional education and experience preferred

Role Expectations

  • PCoordinate daily office functions and operations
  • Serve as a resource and assist with communication to families, staff
  • Schedule & track van certification
  • Manage the fleet software for scheduling bus repairs and inventory
  • Fiscal budget & tracking, including entering requisitions, for departments
  • Assist with red light violations utilizing software (RFI camera)
  • Manage database system for contracts, staffing, agreements, etc. for district operations
  • Monitor state & federal reporting for compliance and assist with reporting if necessary
  • Support onboarding of operations staff
  • Complete other duties as assigned
  • Maintain confidentialityย
