Job description

We're seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to lead month-end close, financial reporting, and accounting operations while supporting an upcoming ERP implementation. This role oversees one direct report, partners with cross-functional teams, and ensures compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
Responsibilities
  • Own the month-end close process and financial reporting.
  • Review general ledger activity, reconciliations, and journal entries.
  • Support internal and external audits.
  • Oversee operational accounting and ensure compliance with US GAAP and IFRS.
  • Lead and mentor one accounting team member.
  • Drive process improvements and support ERP implementation initiatives.
  • Partner with business leaders on accounting-related matters.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 5-8 years of accounting experience.
  • Experience leading month-end close.
  • Prior supervisory experience.
  • Background in manufacturing, consumer products, industrial, life sciences, pharmaceutical, or similar industries.
  • SAP or comparable ERP experience.
  • Strong Excel, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred
  • CPA.
  • Big 4/public accounting experience.
  • ERP implementation experience.
  • Knowledge of IFRS.

Compensation: $120,000-135,000
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
