Who We Are Looking for and What You Will Do as an Accounting Manager
Rise Wellness, a subsidiary of USANA Health Sciences Inc. is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead and oversee critical accounting operations in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This position leads accounting processes, strengthens internal controls, and drives continuous improvement.
  • Lead and manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure compliance with internal controls
  • Ensure account reconciliations are completed accurately and on time
  • Support internal and external audit processes
  • Supervise and support employees by performing periodic reviews and supporting their professional development
  • Coordinate Accounting and non-accounting personnel to ensure the accurate and timely closing of fiscal periods
  • Continuously work to identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute to the development of best practices within the department

What You Will Need
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or other business-related degree required
  • CPA certification preferred
  • 5+ years of accounting experience, managing accounting operations, preferably in a public company
  • Experience with large ERP platforms, Oracle ERP preferred
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong attention to detail, superior organizational skills, and strong communication skills
  • Educated use of GAAP in analyzing and recording financial information
  • Insight, expertise and attention to detail in assigned function
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet aggressive deadlines and make sound business decisions
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
