Job description

Essential Functions
Establish and maintain standard reporting to improve transparency on working capital balances, costs, and profitability.
Field costing related questions from the business and auditors (both internal and external) including the analysis of pegging and costs movements.
Review journal entries, general ledger account analysis and reconciliations related to inventory.
Improve upon inventory reporting, including cost analysis at the material part level, labor and recalculation of G&A and overhead.
May lead and review accounting control functions and reporting requirements such as: inventory reconciliations, inventory reserve calculations, cycle count accuracy and completeness tracking, excess capacity analysis and other operational reporting needs.
Consolidate, analyze, and report inventory balances by product line and perform detailed monthly variance analysis as well as Quarterly Balance Sheet classification (RM, WIP & FG)
Calculate and record intercompany profit-in-inventory (PII) eliminations monthly to ensure compliance with US GAAP.
Strong internal control focus, including updating control documentation, supporting internal and external audits.
Actively seek opportunities to streamline assigned processes and cross-train with peers.
Assist in project management activities and ad hoc analysis as required.
Provide support and collaborate with Procurement and Operations as needed.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance and a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant accounting/finance experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior related accounting/finance experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related accounting/finance experience.

Internal control experience
Relevant experience in cost accounting or operations/manufacturing environment
Strong SAP expertise with an understanding of pegging and distribution in a complex manufacturing or logistics environment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
Ability to communicate and work as a team player
Ability to adapt to updated priorities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Excellent interpersonal skills including a service-oriented mindset.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Experience in leading teams, guiding and directing resources, planning, forecasting, scheduling, and facilitation.
