Position Overview

Kiewit is seeking a Sr IT Manager to drive enterprise-wide transformation initiatives that modernize procurement processes, optimize operating models, and maximize the value of technology investments.

This role bridges strategy and execution, partnering with senior business leaders and IT teams to deliver measurable outcomes including labor cost avoidance, productivity improvements, and scalable growth.

District Overview

Kiewit Technology Group builds solutions to enable and support our company's expansive operations. Our mission is to deliver project schedule and cost certainty by employing technology designed by and for the construction industry. Our team utilizes systems and tools that manage every part of Kiewit's business and the project lifecycle to improve planning and day-to-day execution in the field. Location

This is a full time in office role; this candidate will report to our LaVista, NE or Lenexa, KS office. Relocation assistance may be considered for this role. 

Responsibilities

Lead Strategy & Transformation

  • Define and execute procurement transformation initiatives aligned with business strategy and IT roadmaps.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency through automation and process redesign.
  • Build compelling business cases with clear ROI, labor, and operational impact.

Partner Across the Business

  • Act as a strategic advisor to senior leaders, translating business needs into technology-enabled solutions.
  • Track, validate, and communicate benefits realization.
  • Present progress, risks, and outcomes to executive leadership.

Drive Program & Team Success

  • Lead cross-functional teams and coordinate with technology and vendor partners.
  • Facilitate and participate in workshops to identify opportunities and prioritize initiatives.
  • Ensure delivery excellence across schedule, cost, risk, and quality.

What Success Looks Like

  • A prioritized pipeline of high-value transformation use cases across procurement and adjacent domains. 
  • A clear, rolling 12-18 month transformation roadmap.
  • 90% on-time delivery with strong cost and quality performance.
  • A high-performing, engaged team with clear development paths.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in procurement, business transformation, or related fields.
  • Strong experience partnering with IT delivery teams.
  • Demonstrated success delivering large-scale, cross-functional initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and executive presence.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience defining and tracking KPIs. #LI-AK1
