Hexagon's Autonomous Solutions division is looking for a Senior Director, Global People & Culture (P&C) Advisory & Operations to join our team in Calgary, AB / Tucson, AZ / Morton, IL. Reporting to the Vice President, People & Culture, this role will lead our global People & Culture advisory and operations function, building scalable frameworks, governance, and service delivery models that ensure employees and leaders receive consistent, high-quality support throughout the employee lifecycle while enabling strategic workforce decisions across a global organization.

The Location: This position is based in Calgary, AB / Tucson, AZ / Morton, IL.

Responsibilities

As Senior Director, Global People & Culture (P&C) Advisory & Operations you will be responsible for these activities:

  • Develop and execute the global People & Culture advisory strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives, workforce priorities, and enterprise risk management.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing global P&C Advisory team while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and service excellence.
  • Serve as the executive escalation point for complex employee relations matters, including performance management, workplace investigations, accommodations, conduct issues, and organizational change, while establishing governance frameworks and decision-making standards that ensure consistency and compliance globally.
  • Drive operational excellence by designing, governing, and continuously improving People & Culture processes, service delivery models, and operational frameworks in partnership with HRIS, Payroll, Legal, and regional P&C leaders.
QualificationsMust Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 12+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including significant expertise in HR advisory, employee relations, or HR service delivery within a global organization.
  • 10+ years of people leadership experience, including leading global HR advisory and operations teams across North America, EMEA, APAC, and Latin America.
  • Deep knowledge of employment legislation, employee relations, workforce governance, HR risk management, and experience partnering with senior leaders to navigate complex organizational challenges.
Nice To Have:
  • Experience in a high technology, engineering, manufacturing, or industrial environment.
  • Experience leading organizational transformation initiatives, including restructures, acquisitions, integrations, or large-scale change management programs.
Key Success Factors:
  • Strong consulting, coaching, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence executive leaders, improve global People & Culture operations, and deliver scalable, compliant solutions that support business growth.
