Job Overview

As the Operations Coordinator, you'll be the central hub connecting customers, sales, production, and logistics. Your work will directly impact on-time deliveries, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency throughout our manufacturing process. 


Key Responsibilities

· Communicate proactively with customers regarding production timelines and delivery schedules.

· Collaborate with sales and production teams to establish and maintain daily shipping schedules.

· Manage and update production documentation, including orders and rebar tags.

· Arrange and coordinate trucking for outbound deliveries.

· Provide backup support for administrative tasks such as inventory and production reporting.

· Manage and control the number and frequency of customer pickup per day.

Requirements: Qualifications & Preferences

Required Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in manufacturing, logistics, scheduling, or production coordination.
  • Experience working with ERP systems.
  • Ability to learn new processes and software with implementation success. 
  • Knowledge of shipping and transportation coordination from a rebar shop perspective
  • Understanding reinforcing terminology and processes.
Work Environment

· Onsite position at our Marion, OH facility.

· Primarily an office-based role supporting a manufacturing operation.

· Occasional time on the production floor to verify tags, coordinate loading, or check inventory – requiring standard PPE (safety glasses, hearing protection and hard hat where applicable).

· Collaborative team environment to allow for the entire team to be successful with a focus on safety and quality.

· Rapid changes require the ability to manage information and processes quickly. 

· Hours: 7am-4:30 pm Monday to Thursday; 7am to early afternoon on Fridays, depending on workload.

· Work demands: standing, walking, sitting and lifting up to 25 pounds on occasion.
