Job description

Club Operations Assistant

Are you a high-energy, organized individual who loves fitness and takes pride in a job well done? We are looking for a reliable Club Operations Assistant to help keep our Anytime Fitness DeMotte fitness community sparkling clean, welcoming, and running smoothly. Located at 1334 15th St. SE, DeMotte, IN 46341, this is a unique, split-responsibility role perfect for a self-motivated go-getter. Each day, you will spend 4 hours providing exceptional customer service and administrative support in the front office, and 2.5 hours executing rigorous facility cleaning to ensure our members have a world-class environment to train in. We offer a flexible but consistent schedule (Monday through Thursday) with two shift options depending on whether you prefer to clean before or after your office hours.

Club Operations & Member Support (4 Hours/Day: 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM)
  • Partner with the Club Manager to run an efficient, high-energy sales and front office.
  • Warmly greet members, answer phones, make outbound calls, and assist with account management using our club software.
  • Confidently handle member inquiries and hold boundaries firmly but politely (e.g., explaining club policies and contract terms).
  • Inspire, motivate, and hold our members accountable to their fitness goals, keeping their quality of life at the center of everything you do.
Facility Upkeep & Cleaning (2.5 Hours/Day: Flexible Before or After Office Hours but must be consistent once you decide.)
  • Maintain a "sparkling clean" facility by deep-cleaning bathrooms from top to bottom.
  • Vacuum, sweep, and mop club flooring and high-traffic areas.
  • Thoroughly wipe down, sanitize, and dust fitness equipment.
  • Monitor, restock, and fill member spray bottles and gym supplies.
  • Work efficiently and independently to maximize cleaning time without distraction.

What We Are Looking For

  • Coachability: You take feedback well and are eager to learn our proven sales and service processes.
  • Resilience: You are comfortable with difficult or firm conversations and don't feel intimidated when you have to say "no" to a member request.
  • Strong Work Ethic: You thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritize getting things done over casual socializing.
  • Passion for Fitness: You understand the power of a healthy lifestyle and want to influence others positively.
  • Consistency: Able to commit to a fixed, reliable schedule Monday through Thursday.

Compensation: $9.00 - $12.00 per hour
