Job Description
We are seeking a driven, detail-oriented Accounting Manager to take ownership of financial operations and play a key role in supporting the company's continued growth trajectory.
The Accounting Manager will thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and influence decision-making at both tactical and strategic levels. This role oversees all core accounting and financial reporting functions while partnering closely with local and regional leadership to drive operational performance and profitability.
Responsibilities Include:
  • Direct accounting and financial reporting activities leading a team of two accounting clerks
  • Lead all accounting operations, including month-end close, journal entries, consolidations, and financial statement preparation
  • Oversee credit and collections, as well as accounts payable
  • Manage cash operations and ensure effective reconciliation and control processes
  • Support the annual budget process, monthly financial analysis, and forecasting
  • Maintain integrity of accounting systems, processes, and internal controls
  • Coordinate and prepare for the annual external audit
  • Support corporate transactions and reporting requests, including ad-hoc analyses, footnote preparation, and audit documentation
  • Assist with SOX readiness efforts and the implementation of a strong control framework
  • Partner with finance and operations teams to drive efficient and profitable growth
  • Additional duties or special projects as assigned.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Strong accounting and financial acumen with exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships
  • Demonstrated business acumen and fiduciary mindset
  • Proven project management experience
  • Hands-on approach with the ability to operate effectively at both strategic and tactical levels
  • CPA preferred
  • Public accounting or equivalent industry leadership experience is a significant plus
  • Syspro ERP software experience a plus
  • Experience within a Private Equity-backed organization
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to physically sit at a desk for long periods, operate a computer, and listen/speak clearly on the phone and in-person.
