Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Repossession Agent / Wheel Lift Tow Truck Driver to join our dynamic team. This vital role involves safely recovering vehicles through repossession procedures and operating specialized tow trucks, including wheel lift and flatbed equipment. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, excellent driving skills, and a commitment to customer service. As a key member of our operations, you will ensure efficient vehicle recovery while maintaining safety standards and professionalism at all times.
Responsibilities
  • Operate wheel lift tow trucks and flatbed vehicles to recover and transport repossessed or impounded vehicles efficiently and safely.
  • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections prior to recovery, identifying mechanical issues or damages that may affect towing procedures.
  • Utilize automotive diagnostics and mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor mechanical problems on tow trucks or recovered vehicles.
  • Load, unload, and secure vehicles properly using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or other lifting devices to prevent damage during transport.
  • Manage documentation related to vehicle recovery, including detailed reports of the recovery process and vehicle condition.
  • Interact professionally with customers, law enforcement, and other stakeholders, providing clear communication and resolving conflicts effectively.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and routine maintenance of tow trucks and related equipment to ensure operational readiness.
