Job Summary

The Operations Manager is responsible for leading manufacturing, warehouse, inventory, fulfillment, and production operations to ensure the safe, efficient, and cost-effective manufacturing and delivery of high-quality products. This role oversees production planning, supply chain coordination, operational performance, team leadership, inventory management, and continuous improvement initiatives while supporting business growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead manufacturing, warehouse, inventory, and fulfillment operations.
  • Develop operational strategies to improve productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
  • Monitor operational KPIs and implement performance improvement initiatives.
  • Support Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) to align production with customer demand.
  • Oversee production scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation.
  • Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement projects.
  • Partner with Engineering and Quality teams on new product introductions and process improvements.
  • Improve equipment reliability and reduce production downtime.
  • Manage receiving, inventory control, shipping, warehouse operations, and logistics.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy using ERP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Optimize warehouse layout, material flow, and transportation activities.
  • Lead, coach, and develop production and warehouse teams.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 8+ years of experience in manufacturing, warehouse operations, supply chain, or logistics.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience managing production or warehouse teams.
  • Experience managing end-to-end operations and multiple functional areas.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and fulfillment.
  • Experience with ERP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience with electronics manufacturing, production processes, and quality control.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
