Job description

  • Follow all credit union policies, procedures, security guidelines, and regulatory and policy compliance requirements, i.e., Bank Secrecy Act, Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC) and AntiMoney Laundering (AML) Regulations, and all other compliancerelated policies
  • Ensure compliance with credit union policies and procedures applicable to the credit union’s strategic goals and objectives
  • Actively seek new systems, processimprovement and enhanced procedures to improve productivity and control operating costs
  • Conduct periodic reviews of existing systems, products and procedures. Provide recommendations regarding improvements in service delivery, processes and equipment needs which will further the credit union objectives
  • Work with Executive Vice President to ensure institutional functions that are associated with branch operations and nonlending consumer and business products and services are in place and working effectively
  • Serve as OFAC/BSA Officer if requested
  • Complete and file reports required by State or Federal agencies that are related to operations
  • Manage annual required filing report for State of Georgia Unclaimed Property Act
  • Ensure Visa Quarterly reports are filed timely to avoid late filing penalties
  • Research, develop and implement payment system strategies for the credit union, including ATM/Debit networks, internal and external payment solutions, including prepaid, mobile, chip, NFC, etc.
  • Manage institutional 3rd party relationships related to the ATM Network, checking clearings, or other vendors as identified
  • Ensure that services are delivered in accordance with established credit union standards, policies and procedures
  • Ensure that the quality and integrity of credit union programs and services are maintained
  • Ensure that applicable laws, regulations and policies are strictly adhered to
  • Assist departments in developing quality control standards and processes and ensure that quality control activities are effective and in accordance with established standards when requested
  • Integrate with the Compliance area to ensure all areas of fraud that can be identified are covered and mitigated.
