General Summary of the Position
The Campus Worship & Development Director at Grace Community Church - GE Campus serves in a dual capacity to advance both the worship culture and strategic growth of the Grace Español community.
As Worship Director, this leader champions our core value of worship-cultivating both corporate gatherings and personal devotion that reflect a Romans 12:1 lifestyle: offering our whole selves as a living sacrifice in response to the love of God. This includes shepherding teams, fostering Christ-centered environments of praise, and guiding our church family into authentic, Spirit-led worship.
As Campus Development Director, this role supports the growth and health of the Grace Español Campus by nurturing people, strengthening ministry teams, and stewarding resources. In close partnership with the Campus Pastor, this leader helps build systems, care for volunteers, oversee membership integration, and prepare the campus for future growth-all while embodying the mission and culture of Grace.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities for WORSHIP: (accountabilities included but not limited to)
  • Work with Grace Español Campus Pastor, GE staff, Senior Worship Pastor, and Grace global worship staff to program, organize, and execute weekly worship services.
  • Lead the music portion of the services and run weekly rehearsals.
  • Work with the Worship Department Coordinator to prepare slides for Sunday morning worship services.
  • Lead, recruit, and develop an all-volunteer worship team for the GE Campus.
  • Work with the Audio/Visual department on sound/lighting/projection/stage design.
  • Collaborate with Grace staff, both GE and global, beyond what is required.
  • Facilitate "extra" worship services as needed. (e.g. Christmas Eve, Good Friday...etc.)
  • Communicate well and be timely and organized with weekly responsibilities.
  • Align with the theological doctrine and core beliefs of Grace Community Church.

Worship Skills and Abilities:
  • Sing in-tune and with appropriate style.
  • Fluent in both Spanish and English.
  • Play guitar or piano with proficiency.
  • Program, read and arrange music.
  • Lead rehearsals of instrumentalists and vocalists.
  • Train musicianship into band members as needed.
  • Be willing to learn new musical styles.
  • Be willing to write original material in a collaborative environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities for CAMPUS DEVELOPMENT: (accountabilities included but not limited to)
  • Know, love, serve, and pray for the GE Campus community.
  • Work with Campus Pastor to care for and nurture a young church plant, while adhering to Grace's mission and culture.
  • Work with Campus Pastor on design and execution of regular Campus team meetings.
  • Take initiative to identify and address needs as the GE Campus grows.
  • Develop structure and support for the Campus volunteer ministry leaders (small groups, guest services, women's & men's ministries, GSM, etc.).
  • Oversee the Discover: Membership class (3x per year) and follow-up tasks to provide members care and integration within the GE family (serving, baptism, community).
  • Steward and maintain the appropriate budgets that this role would oversee (General Admin, Campus Development, General Ministries, etc.).
  • Execute weekly Campus duties that the Campus Pastor assigns.
  • Serve as liaison between GE Campus, Operations Team, and GCS to troubleshoot problems and manage common resources.
  • Work with Campus Pastor on special ministry projects and future-oriented plans.
  • Attend and participate in weekly/monthly staff and campus-specific meetings.
  • Provide administrative support for the Grace Español Campus by coordinating room reservations and ensuring spaces are properly scheduled, prepared, and aligned with ministry needs.
  • Assist in organizing and tracking campus-related logistics, calendars, and communication to support smooth weekly operations.
  • Engage in and help coordinate local mission activities, fostering opportunities for the Español Campus to serve the surrounding community.
  • Support general campus administration by maintaining organization of resources, assisting with event planning, and collaborating with staff to ensure effective stewardship of facilities and ministry efforts.

Education, Training, Experience:
  • Must be Bilingual (Spanish-English)
  • College degree
  • 3 years of experience in leading worship
  • Familiar with Planning Center Online, Google Drive...etc.

Work or Ministry Team Context:
This position is attached to the Sr. Worship Pastor for Worship and Grace Español Campus Pastor for Campus Development. It is based primarily out of the Tyler Offices of Grace Community Church and expected on-site at the Grace Español Campus on Sunday mornings.
