The Federal Work-Study Program for this role provides jobs ITCC students with financial need, allowing them to earn money to help pay for expenses related to their education. The program encourages community service work and work related to your course of study.

Current Ivy Tech Students Only
Hourly rate: $15.00
The Federal Work-Study Program provides part-time jobs for undergraduate and graduate students with financial need, allowing them to earn money to help pay for expenses related to their education. The program encourages community service work and work related to your course of study.
Duties:
  • All positions require employees to deliver first-class customer service.
  • Employees must use computer software including Microsoft programs (Excel, Outlook, Word) and department specific software.
  • Some positions require employees to perform clerical, computing, filing, and telephone duties.
  • Each position will have duties and responsibilities specific to the department.

Schedule:
Up to 20 hours weekly based upon department's need and employee's availability.
Education:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must be enrolled in at least six (6) credit hours at the Lake County campus
  • Must have a current Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on file
  • Must be making Satisfactory Academic Progress as determined by the financial aid office
  • Must have financial need as determined by the financial aid office

Selected candidate for employment will be subject to pre-employment background checks, including criminal history check, and any offer of employment will be contingent upon that outcome.
