Job description

The Sr. Systems Engineer is responsible for the planning, design, and implementation of our rapidly growing systems infrastructure. As a key member of a talented team of engineers and administrators, you will deliver mission-critical infrastructure and ensure exceptional availability, performance, and security across our fully virtualized VMware environment.
This role requires extensive experience with VMware, SAN architecture, Microsoft Server technologies, blade server infrastructure, and cloud migration to Microsoft Azure.
This position follows a hybrid onsite work schedule.

  • Additional scripting experience (Python, Bash)
  • Strong documentation skills and ability to create/maintain technical procedures

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of direct experience with VMware vSphere 7 & 8 environments
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Server products/applications (AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO, etc.)
  • Experience troubleshooting Windows, Linux, and approved operating systems
  • Understanding of Windows systems administration
  • Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services and migration strategies
  • Proficiency in SQL Server administration
  • Strong PowerShell scripting skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
