Job description

Responsibilities Noblis MSD is seeking to hire a Systems Engineer to support the US Navy out of Newport, RI. Noblis MSD's mission is to support the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) in their missions to enable research, development, test and evaluation, acquisition, engineering, systems integration, in-service and fleet engineering with cybersecurity, comprehensive logistics, and life-cycle savings. Systems Engineer will be responsible for: * Programing and managing networks.

* Oversee the creation of hybrid software, web and hardware products from initial specifications to final rollout and maintenance. * Integrate various network operating systems, application programs and hardware devices. * Manage the development cycle associated with producing a resilient software, hardware and web applications, including specification, design, coding, testing and maintenance.

* Provide project analysis to identify potential risks; provide solutions to overcome obstacles. This position will be based in Newport, RI. Required Qualifications * Bachelor's level degree in an Engineering discipline and 7 years of professional experience in systems engineering.

* US Citizen with a DoD Secret clearance or able to obtain a DoD secret. * Experience using NAVWAR software related procedures on submarines, surface, or shore installations. * Experience in submarine software installations or installation of networked systems on Navy platforms.

* Experience using the PEO C4I AI process in lab environments in support of submarines or surface ships. Desired Qualifications * Prior work experience directly supporting NUWCDIVNPT Code 25 submarine Tactical Networks programs. * Familiarity with CANES (AN/USQ-208), SubLAN (AN/USQ-177), ADNS, and Tactical Networks Next Generation (TN Next Gen) architectures and modernization roadmaps across SSN, SSBN, and SSGN platforms.

* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. * Proficient in Microsoft Applications. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status.
