• Experience with Kerberos authentication and related security frameworks.
• Familiarity with debugging, performance tuning, and system diagnostics tools.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly skilled Unix/Linux System Programmer with strong expertise in C programming, Perl scripting, and Unix/Linux system and network programming. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and supporting low-level system applications, network services, and security-focused solutions in a complex enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, maintain, and optimize system-level applications on Unix/Linux platforms using C.
• Design and implement network programming solutions utilizing sockets, IPC, and other communication protocols.
• Create and maintain automation scripts and system utilities using Perl.
• Analyze and troubleshoot operating system, application, and network-related issues.
• Implement secure coding practices and promote defensive programming methodologies.
• Support authentication and authorization mechanisms, including Kerberos integration.
• Monitor system performance and recommend tuning and optimization improvements.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams to ensure platform stability and security.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.
• Experience with shell scripting (Bash/Korn Shell).
