Job Details: Part time positions:
1st is Mon -Tues-Weds 5 PM - 8:30 PM
2nd is Thurs-Fri-Sat 5 PM - 8:30 PM
Could be combined into 1 position, Mon-Sat 5 PM - 8:30 PM
* Preferable with EVS experience. *
The job consists of performing cleaning duties in a medical or healthcare setting. Detailed cleaning and disinfecting are required, while having attention to detail and general cleaning responsibilities.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Perform cleaning tasks up to Kleen Standards. Scope of work is provided to outline required duties and frequency per room in assigned building.
  • Able to perform terminal cleanings in any room inside of a hospital: operating rooms, exam rooms, patient rooms.
  • Thorough understanding and performance of the operating room cleaning procedure.
  • Work under EHS safety policies and procedures. (i.e. when using cleaning chemicals, medical cleaning, reporting incidents, etc.)
  • Perform general cleaning duties like dusting, mopping, sweeping, trash and recycling removal, window cleaning and deep cleaning restrooms.
  • Maintain health requirements in compliance including medical exams and immunizations when required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Provide excellent level of customer service to both internal and external customers by maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Knowledge of Blood Borne Pathogens (BBP) and ways to protect against exposure, including best practices to avoid cross-contamination.
  • Knowledge of hazardous materials and proper handling procedures.
