Job description


Experienced Dining Room Cleaner - $19+ per hour

Location: Chick-fil-A Gateway Center

Department: Team Member 

Shift: 10am to 10:30pm

Hours: 30+

MUST HAVE MONDAY - SATURDAY AVAILABILITY.

Position Summary:

The Dining Room Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and welcoming environment in all guest-facing areas of the restaurant, with a primary focus on the dining room, restrooms, and entryways. This team member plays a critical role in upholding Chick-fil-A Gateway’s high standards of cleanliness and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and sanitize dining room tables, chairs, booths, high chairs, front counters and bathrooms.
  • Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors and entry mats as needed throughout the shift.
  • Empty and replace trash liners in all guest-accessible areas (dining room/restrooms and patio)
  • Respond promptly to spills or messes to ensure guest safety and comfort.
  • Maintain a clean and welcoming dining environment by routinely cleaning booths, tables, chairs, walls, doors, windows, and other high touch surfaces with close attention to detail.
  • Ensure restrooms are clean, stocked, and sanitary by performing regular inspections and cleaning throughout the shift.
  • Remove trash and recyclables promptly and maintain cleanliness around waste and disposal areas to support a safe and organized restaurant environment.
  • Keep exterior areas presentable, including the patio, entrances, and surrounding grounds, by sweeping, cleaning, and removing debris to provide a positive guest experience.
  • Other duties as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Consistent and reliable
  • Cleaning experience preferred - (1+ year)
  • Customer service oriented
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Works well independently and in a team environment
  • Have the ability to lift and carry 50 lbs regularly
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and move for long periods
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, and reach as necessary for cleaning tasks.
  • Must be able to work in varying weather conditions when maintaining exterior cleanliness (heat/rain).
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions regarding cleaning procedures and safety standards.
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment.
