TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified OR RN in Springfield, Missouri, 65804!

Travel: RN Main Operating Room - Days (4x10)

Contract | Travel | Days, 4x10 (6:30 AM โ€“ 5:00 PM) | 36 Hours Weekly Guaranteed | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform direct patient care activities for all age groups including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in the Main Operating Room
  • Assist with vascular surgeon cases in the OR and Hybrid Imaging suite, including endovascular and open cases
  • Function as both scrub and OR circulator, utilizing the nursing process to provide and evaluate patient care
  • Monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient outcomes and comfort
  • Maintain patient rights and confidentiality while adhering to established nursing practice guidelines and the Missouri Nurse Practice Act
  • Participate in call requirements as scheduled, averaging approximately 5 or fewer call shifts per 8-week period
Required Qualifications
  • Current RN license โ€” must meet eligibility criteria for licensure in the state of Missouri or currently licensed in Missouri
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) only
  • Minimum 2 years of Level 1 or Level 2 Trauma experience (teaching hospital experience will be considered)
  • Demonstrated scrub and OR circulator experience
  • Minimum 1 year of interventional vascular experience with competency in conscious sedation
  • Flu vaccination or approved exemption required November 1 through April 1
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Level 1 trauma experience with multiple years in a high-acuity OR environment
  • Experience working with robotic surgical systems (e.g., DaVinci)
  • Proficiency with EPIC EMR
  • Highly motivated, self-starting personality with strong human relations and communication skills
