Schedule: Day Shift | 12-Hour Shifts | 13-Week Contract | 34.5 Guaranteed Hours/Week

Position Overview:

MedCadre is seeking an experienced Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Bronx, NY. The ideal candidate will have experience providing acute and/or chronic dialysis treatments and be comfortable working independently in various inpatient settings, including ICU, CCU, ER, and medical units.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer acute and chronic dialysis treatments to adult patients.
  • Perform cannulation and de-cannulation of fistulas and dialysis catheters.
  • Monitor patients during dialysis treatments and respond to complications.
  • Operate, test, maintain, and disinfect dialysis equipment.
  • Provide bedside dialysis throughout the hospital as needed.
  • Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record system.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care.
  • Adhere to infection control and patient safety protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Active RN license required.
  • Minimum 1 year of Dialysis RN experience required.
  • Acute and/or chronic dialysis experience required.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required.
  • ICU or PCU experience preferred.
  • Strong assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to work independently in inpatient dialysis settings.
