We're seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) who can take the reins of our day-to-day operations, align cross-functional teams, and drive us toward sustainable scale. You'll act as the company's integrator, translating vision into measurable performance, while reinforcing our culture of ownership, accountability, and results. This role reports directly to the CEO, who is transitioning to a strategic, visionary role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead all daily operations across sales, preconstruction, project management, and field execution
  • Translate the CEO's strategic vision into executable plans and team performance goals
  • Serve as the integrator across departments to ensure alignment and measurable results
  • Recruit, coach, and mentor high-performing leaders and department heads
  • Drive adoption of internal systems, including Procore, CRM, and the REZ Operating System
  • Foster a culture of urgency, excellence, and empowered ownership
  • Manage estimating and sales performance with a goal of a 25% bid-win ratio
  • Oversee budgets, forecasting, and financial KPIs with a focus on profitability
  • Build relationships with key clients to support retention and expansion
  • Champion REZ's core values: Ownership Mentality, Bold Innovation, Empowered Execution, Legacy Through Impact
  • Lead mindset workshops and internal initiatives that support a purpose-driven culture
What We're Looking For
  • 10 or more years in commercial construction leadership (VP, GM, Director of Ops, etc.)
  • Background in QSR, retail, or high-volume commercial construction preferred
  • Proven track record leading cross-functional teams and implementing scalable systems
  • Operationally disciplined, systems-first leader
  • Excellent communicator and coach with high emotional intelligence
  • Strategic thinker with tactical execution chops
  • Tech-savvy, proficient with Procore, CRMs, scheduling tools, and other construction tech
  • Entrepreneurial and action-oriented
  • Driven by results, not red tape
  • Ready to own outcomes and leave a legacy
Compensation
  • Full Time, Remote position
  • Competitive salary range at $100,000 to $200,000 base + performance-based incentives
