About the Role:

The Relationship Manager position is responsible for developing, maintaining, and growing strong relationships with partner establishments in their assigned territory. This individual will serve as the primary point of contact for accounts, ensuring partners receive the highest level of service, support, and guidance to maximize success with Accel's gaming offerings. The primary responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, assisting locations through video gaming applications and overall live video gaming processes, keeping locations updated on gaming industry information, as well as assisting in other areas as needed.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyze industry data to help establishment increase game play

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with assigned partner establishments

  • Conduct regular visits to partner locations to provide support, gather feedback, and identify growth opportunities for the purpose of retention and revenue growth

  • Act as the primary liaison between partners and Accel's internal teams

  • Manage day-to-day relations and troubleshoot issues

  • Educate partners on new gaming products, compliance requirements, and promotional programs

  • Analyze account performance, trends, and revenue opportunities, presenting actionable recommendations to partners

  • Ensure service levels are maintained at an optimal level

  • Develop new business in identified region

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to plan customized on-site marketing materials for your establishments

  • Proactively address client issues

  • Performs special projects and related duties as assigned

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience in account management, relationship management, sales, business development, marketing, or a customer-facing role required

  • Ability and willingness to travel by company vehicle throughout the assigned territory approximately 50% of the time

  • Proven ability to build, maintain, and grow strong customer relationships while driving account retention and satisfaction

  • Experience identifying and developing new business opportunities and attaining new accounts

  • 2-3 years of hospitality, restaurant, bar, entertainment, gaming, or related service industry experience preferred

  • Gaming and gambling industry knowledge preferred but not required

  • Strong professional presence with excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to adapt, prioritize, organize, and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience analyzing customer performance data and providing actionable recommendations preferred

  • Ability to interact professionally with business owners, operators, managers, and community partners

  • Valid driver's license required

  • Minimum 21 years of age

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Terminal Handler License through the Illinois Gaming Board

Base Pay Range:

Base salary is between $50,000-$75,000 plus commission, targeted total compensation of $125,000-$175,000+

This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. The base salary will depend on a number of factors such as: qualifications, experience level, and skillset.

Voluntary full-time employment benefits include medical, dental, and vision; life, AD&D, critical illness, and hospital insurance; short and long-term disability; identity/legal protection; as well as access to FSA and HSA accounts. Full and part-time employees are eligible to contribute to traditional and/or Roth 401(k) plans.
